Remember

One of the most powerful things we can do is "Remember".

My pastor once shared that when we remember, we put things back together:
RE-member.
When Jesus said, "Remember me" during the passover, what did He do?
He took the bread (symbolizing His body) and broke it.
He and His disciples then ate the bread.
Thus, what was broken was "put back together" within their bodies.
They "re-membered"...

When we choose to remember the good things The LORD has done, it makes our lives worth living. We, in a sense, allow GOD to put things back into prospective - allowing our souls to see that Abba Father is arranging the puzzle pieces of our lives.

One of the things I cherish are the journals I've been given from dear friends and family. (I love journals!) While reading a journal entry about my beloved (Tobin), I remembered how blessed I am to have him as my best friend. Every day since the first day of our courtship has been kissed of Heaven. Tobin and I have been through so much... trials and triumphs; hard times and heavenly ones. All in all, when I choose to remember what The LORD has done in and through our relationship, something happens within me...
It's unfathomably wonderful.
My love is made more full... when I CHOOSE to remember.

Love...
I have been humbled in this area...
In The LORD's Word it says, "... Love... keeps no record of wrongs"
(1 Corinthians 13:5).
Love remembers no wrongs.
Love doesn't "put together" the wrongs that someone has done.

Again... what is Love?
"Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails"
(1 Corinthians 13:4-8).

Now... as we are all "pressing towards the goal" and waiting on our Beloved Savior, Jesus Christ, let's remember Him... let's remember that He is our GOD.

Remember...

Remember...

I Love Him

I love this man.
He is wise, brave, intelligent, humble, giving, kind, and loves The LORD with all of his heart.
He is married to one of the most beautiful ladies I've ever known.
This man has written songs about his first love (GOD) and his best friend (his wife).
I look up to this man.
He has been there during my most trying and testing seasons;
He encourages me to press past failure and pain.
This man sees the rainbow at the end of every storm.
This man is one of my heroes.
I love this man.
I love my dad, Jeff Etienne.

I love this man.
He is bright, encouraging, friendly, handsome, talented, funny, prudent, courageous, and so much more.
He walks by faith and is wise beyond his years.
This man is so in love with The LORD that one would think, "Does he have room in his heart to love anyone else?" But this man... this man whom I love carries so much love in his heart for GOD and for others.
He has a servant's heart.
He is beautiful (inside and out).
One day, this man will become my covering.
I look forward to the day when we walk down the aisle as one... when we live as husband and wife, experiencing an ever-growing depth of GOD's eternal love.
I am so thankful The LORD brought him into my life.
I love this man.
I love my fiancé, Tobin Shoemate.

I love this man.
He is like no other man I've ever met.
He has every good quality ever deemed to human kind, yet He is heavenly.
This man is always honest, always loving, always caring.
In fact...
This man is perfect.
One day...
This man did the most daring thing to show His love for me.
"No one has greater love than this, that one should lay down his life for his friends" (John 15:13).
I'm speechless at times when I think of how He took on my shame so that I could live my life to the fullest.
I love this man because He first loved me.
But you know what the awesome part is?!
Though this man died a brutal death in my place - he is no longer dead.
He is alive!!
And one day, I will see this man face to face.
I love this man.
I love my Savior, Jesus Christ.

Live

As long as we have breath,
there is hope
As long as we have breath
a miracle can be birthed
As long as we have breath
we can sing
As long as we have breath
we can rejoice
As long as we have breath
we can dare to dream, dare to believe, dare to love
As long as we have breath
we can live...

Live
