Three Things

Has someone ever asked you, "What's your 'pet-peeve'?" Your mind then begins the process of unraveling stored thoughts - thoughts of things that don't really give you a happy or nice feeling. Then, when eventually re-confronted with your pet-peeve you're even more peeved...
So... really? Why go there?

In the world we live in, the best thing I can do is not offer my list of peeved moments, disappointments, or fiascoes! ... Instead, I choose to go towards a different, more amiable route.

"3-Things"
Thanksgiving is one of my favorite holidays. People express gratitude and thanksgivings and the air just seems so tranquil and welcoming for peace, laughter, harmony, Charlie Brown Specials! Why hold off a "thank you" only for ONE DAY in our 365-day calendar? Whether it's November or June, there is always something to be thankful for; I like to choose three things each day. It lets my eyes and heart find the good in life, rather than magnifying the bad.

Today... my 3-Things are:
Delicious family meals, chapstick, and Dove soap.
Yeap. Those things put a smile on my face - especially the first, my family.

What are your 3-Things?

Jo! I love the idea of choosing three things to be thankful for each day. I'm sure it would lighten people up to know that they can have a way to learn the little things mean the most sometimes. Great insight!
